    So I realized that as of tomorrow, Kane is eight months old. That's... a little scary. Where has all the time gone?

    Little butthead's even crawling, too. Not all that well, and he goes backwards half the time before he realizes that hey, that's not the direction he wants to be going in, but still. Crawling nonetheless.

    This is... yeah, it's scary, but it's amazing and wonderful and okay, so maybe the whole path to getting here was rocky, but I love the little guy. Kind of can't imagine life without him now.

    If I'm this sentimental now, just imagine how I'll be when he actually turns one.

    Yeah, that whole lack of a paycheck thing?

    NOT COOL. NOT COOL AT ALL.

    I have bills, damn it. Bills and rent and a girlfriend and kid to support. Lack of money = not cool Even if we ARE getting our stuff tomorrow.

    Well, it's official!

    I'd like to announce that Kane Wyatt Hollister came into the world at 12:18 AM this morning. Mom and baby are both doing fine. Momma is currently high on painkillers and zonked out, which is what I'd like to be. Zonked out, not high on painkillers.

    My kid is beautiful.
